UK DfT calls for review into anti-graffiti programme on roads and railways

UK's transport secretary advised Grant Shapps called (15-Sep-2020) for a review into the Government's anti-graffiti programme on roads and railways. MR Shapps is seeking long-term planning to "build on action already taken, including a review of response times to graffiti vandalism". Network Rail allocated an additional GBP1 million "in the spring to carry out a graffiti blitz on top of its annual GBP3.5 million programme". Further, Highways England plans to "double" its graffiti removal resources. [more - original PR]
