Queensland Rail's acting CEO Katarzyna Stapleton confirmed (06-Jan-2021) the completion of repair works on the Charters Towers-Townsville section of the Mount Isa Line, after an Aurizon freight train derailment on 30-Dec-2020. The railway operator advised: "Queensland Rail is working closely with freight partners to ensure the quick resumption of freight services along the line...
