São Paulo Metropolitan Railway Company (CPTM) president Silvani Alves Pereira, via his official Instagram account, reported (25-Jun-2020) CPTM is "in the finishing phase" for the Morumbi Station construction project. The monorail station, serving Line 17-Gold, will connect to São Paulo Metro's Line 9-Emerald. Mr Pereira advised: "we are awaiting a court decision to resume the finishing of the other 7 stations, as well as the completion of Pátio Água Espraida and the road that will receive the rolling stock". AS previously reported by the Centre for Rail, BYD signed a contract with São Paulo Metro for the delivery of the proposed Line 17-Gold SkyRail project, under a USD705 million phased development plan.
