Australia announces completion of main upgrades on Victoria's North East Rail Line

Australia's Government announced (19-Mar-2021) the completion of main construction works on the North East Rail Line in Victoria. The estimated AUD235 million project includes upgrading approximately 532 linear kilometres of track between Melbourne and Albury-Wodonga. Deputy PM Michael McCormack stated: "Passengers will experience more reliable services and a better ride quality between Spencer Street Junction in Melbourne and Albury-Wodonga...
